Mohair sweaters this season are very popular, and you like to wear it as well. Maybe you have one but nobody informed you about special take care Mohair procedure. This is the reason why we prepared step by step guide: How to properly take care about your Mohair garment.
How to wash mohair:
Soak in tepid water using mild detergent recommended for washing wool or even hair shampoo.
Very gently agitate by hand to dislodge dirt particles. Do not agitate unduly.
Rinse in clean, cool water.
Hang or lay flat to dry (mohair dries quite quickly).
DO NOT TUMBLE DRY.
Once your mohair piece is washed and rinsed, the final and most crucial step follows: lay flat in its natural shape to air dry! Never put woolens in the dryer. Machine drying woolens will cause them to shrink and harm the integrity of fibers. Mohair is delicate, but you don't need to dry clean it.
